Python: Basic Conda commands ver. 6

Show all the virtual environments:

conda info --envs

Create a virtual environment:

conda create -n ENVNAME python=3.7 

Change virtual environments:

conda activate ENVNAME

Delete a virtual environment:

conda env remove --name ENVNAME

Update a package:

conda update -n ENVNAME --all

Show the packages installed. They include the packages installed with pip:

conda list

Delete a package with conda if it is installed with conda and delete a package with pip if it is installed with pip:

conda remove YOURPACKAGE
pip uninstall YOURPACKAGE

open Jupyter Notebook:

jupyter notebook

You can also create a virtual environment with –prefix:

conda create --prefix ./envs python=3.8 numpy pandas 

Delete a virtual environment created with –prefix:

conda env remove -p /Users/... /yourEnv
